Why does this always happen?

Our Christmas trip to the Flodge was scheduled for this Sunday...Yesterday after hours of saying she "just didn't feel right" Franchesca developed a 102 degree fever. We had to cancel the reservation right away as we would forfeit the entire amount if cancelling inside 72 hours. Nice policy for a place that primarily caters to children! We will be going as soon as she is well. Here are a few photos of her from her birthday in September.
