That's the Sound of Sunshine

I delivered FGJ and her friend to the trusting hands
of Mr.Z this morning at 7am.
Ok, maybe a few minutes late.
They drive from 7-9 then have classroom time.
This is their last week of Drivers Education.
Then.

I will have yet another chauffer.
(Refer back to the Watercolor Ponies song on home page)

This morning, though it came around way too quickly, is glorious.
7am, 80 degrees, time by myself at an outdoor patio
with fresh iced tea in a sundress = calm and creative me.
I turn on my latest favs; the Soundtrack to Soul Surfer,
kick my sandals off and begin work on editing The Wedding.
I still have a basketball camp, 2 horseshows and various summer fun posts
waiting in the wings.
I love keeping a record of all of the events in our life since
I fail miserably at scrapbooking
however, I can tend to feel "behind", just a biproduct of being
part perfectionistic, part full time slave (indentured) to 5 to people with little time to myself.
I've decided to alternate posts between my equine blog and our family blog.
The Wedding will be in installments as I feel it is just too much for a single post.

Though a bee is pestering close by,
and a yellow one at that;
I remain content and enjoy
the sound of sunshine.
And a bit of time.
